Remus 'Moony' Lupin

Whatever hunger that had ceased him earlier this morning was fast disappearing as Remus followed the older woman through Hogwarts. She seemed to be a no nonsense kind of person and looked like she could melt you into a puddle of goo with just a glare and definitely something more horrible with a flick of her wand.

Sub-consciously he gulped at the thought of it. "Jelly slugs!" she announced to apparently no one, other than a stone gargoyle.

Great. Not only is she ready to bite any students' head off but she's talking to walls. Brilliant. "Professor..."

It rumbled and the gargoyle leaped away from the spot revealing the wall behind where it split into two. "Now, Mr. Lupin, go up the spiral staircase and through the door. The Headmaster is waiting for you." With a small smile, she gave a pat on his shoulder before nodding for him to continue.

Taking a step forward, he entered the stairwell and up the steps. Behind him, he could hear a deep growl as the wall re-joined. There was only one way and it was up. Pushing the heavy oak door, Remus cleared his throat and called out, "Professor Dumbledore?"
